BANTU Echoes of Africa Mixed Media Art Exhibition by São Matthias Nunes is a Visual Journey Through Heritage and Identity.
The Bantu exhibition is a celebration of the rich cultural, historical, and artistic legacy of Bantu-speaking peoples across Africa. Through a diverse collection of paintings, sculptures and mixed-media works, this exhibition explores themes of identity, tradition, migration and resilience. Drawing inspiration from ancestral wisdom, oral traditions, and contemporary narratives the Portuguese artist born in Angola in 1958, brings to life the rhythms, colours, and symbols from Bantu heritage.
From the echoes of ancient journeys to the vibrancy of modern expressions, Bantu is a visual dialogue between past and present, local and global, personal and collective.
Join us as we connect to the spirit of Bantu culture—one that has shaped communities, languages, and histories across the African continent and beyond.
